Privacy Policy

HardCopy Labs LLC operates this website and the print service behind it. This page explains what we hold about you and why. We are a small operation and we collect only what is needed to make your part and get it to your door.
What we collect when you order
- Your email address, so we can send tracking and reach you about the order.
- Your shipping name and address, so UPS can deliver the part.
- The 3D model you submit, plus the material, colour and any notes you attach to the job.
- Order records — the quote, job status history, and the tracking number.
What we never see
Card details. Payment runs entirely through Stripe's hosted checkout. Your card number never passes through our systems and we could not store it if we wanted to. We receive only Stripe's confirmation that the payment succeeded.
How we use it
To quote your job, manufacture your part, ship it, answer your questions about it, and keep the business records we are required to keep. We do not build profiles, we do not run marketing against your data, and we do not sell it. Ever, to anyone.
Your 3D models
Your model is yours. We store it to produce your order and to support a reprint if something goes wrong. We do not publish it, sell it, share it, or manufacture it for anyone else. If you want your model deleted once your order has arrived, ask and we will delete it.
Who else touches your information
We use a small number of service providers, each for one job:
- Stripe — processes the payment and holds the card data we never see.
- UPS — receives your name and shipping address in order to deliver the parcel.
- Discord — carries our internal operator alerts when a job arrives. These alerts include order details and the shipping address.
- Railway — hosts the order system and its database.
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and, as with any web host, records standard server request logs.
Beyond these, we share your information only if the law requires it. There is no other disclosure and no data broker in the chain.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept while the business operates, so that we can honour support requests and meet tax and accounting obligations. Model files are kept for the same reason but are deleted sooner on request. You can ask us to delete what is not legally required at any time.
Your choices
Write to ben@swinglellc.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete what we are not required to keep. We aim to respond within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason, and asking will never affect how we treat your orders.
Security
Order data and model files sit on access-controlled infrastructure, and the operator tools are key-protected. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise — but the amount of personal data we hold is deliberately small, which is the best protection available.
Children
This service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes affecting existing customers will be emailed.
