HardCopy Labs is a small 3D-print farm you reach through Claude. Work out the object in a conversation — or hand us an STL you already have — and we check it, quote it, inspect it by hand, print it, and put it in a UPS box.

Five steps, one price, a human in the middle

There is no shopping cart here. Orders start inside a Claude conversation using our connector, and payment happens through a Stripe Checkout link we send you once you have seen the price.

  1. Design it, or bring it

    Describe what you need and let Claude model it, or upload an STL you already have. We also accept OpenSCAD source and render it on our end.

  2. We validate the model

    Every submission runs through automatic printability checks — watertight geometry, wall thickness, minimum feature size — with conservative auto-repair where the mesh allows it, and a check that the part fits a machine. If it cannot be printed, you find out before you pay.

  3. You get one price

    A single total, shipping included, quoted before anything is printed. No per-gram line items to decode and no surprise charges afterward. Approve it or walk away.

  4. A person looks at it

    Every model is inspected by a human in a 3D viewer before it reaches a printer. That gate is the reason we can be honest about what will and will not survive the process.

  5. It ships

    Printed, cleaned up, boxed, and sent UPS Ground with tracking. Ask Claude where your order is at any point and it will tell you.

What we will not print. No load-bearing or safety-critical parts — nothing that holds a person, a vehicle, or a load where failure causes injury. No firearm components. Nothing you do not have the right to reproduce. A printed part is a prototype, a fixture, or an object; it is not a certified component.

Pricing

One total, shipping included

Price depends on how much plastic and machine time the part actually takes. You see the total before you pay, and the total is what you pay. Typical orders look like this:

  • Keychain, clip, small bracket from $14
  • Phone stand, cable organizer about $16
  • Desk organizer, mid-size enclosure about $20
  • Large shell, helmet-sized part about $51
  • Filling the build plate up to $120
These are estimates for typical geometry, not a price list. Hollow parts cost less than solid ones of the same size. Your quote is calculated from your actual model and confirmed before printing starts.
